Howden Clough’s Open Age team are aiming for a historic league and couple double on Good Friday.
Recently crowned Wakefield League Division 2 Champions, the team are hoping to secure the double in the League Division 2 Cup Final.

The Cup Final will be played on Good Friday 19th April. Kick off 19:30. The location is Nostell Miners Welfare, Crofton Community Centre, Middle Lane, Wakefield, WF4 1LB.
No Howden Clough Open Age team have ever achieved the double, so let’s make this a historic occasion, let’s get as many people as possible at the game wearing Clough colours, make lots of noise and cheer Clough to victory! Come on Clough!!!!!
Joe Armitage, who manages the team, will play his last game as a player on Good Friday after wearing the Orange shirt for 30 years. His assistant Lee Crossland and the team hope to make this a fitting conclusion to Joe’s playing career.
